This workshop series will return participants (staff, family leaders and students) to their ancestral roots by examining how major ancient civilizations of Aztec, Carthage, China, Egypt, Maya, and/or Persia utilized Science, Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) to engineer prosperous empires. Today’s rulers are CEOs Chief Executive Officers. Eighty percent of CEOs have a college degree. The business of today is grounded in STEM. Participants will learn how they should embrace STEM and education to build to prepare for a position as CEO.
This workshop series will discuss the usage of technology to improve academic performance.

4000 Invention the Mother of Necessity
This workshop series discusses inventions and how inventions are a combination of creativity, art and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Every major corporation grew and generated wealth with a major invention. Participants (staff, family leaders and students) will learn about invents that were derived from accidents during the scientific research process and how to conduct their own research. Participants will play a round of a wealth building game of accidental inventions.

This workshop series discusses the manipulation of words leading etymology and its necessity in closing the vocabulary gap high needs students in poverty stricken communities face. It provides participants (staff, family leaders and students) with the tools of journal writing for seamlessly addition of vocabulary to students’ written and verbal dialogue will also provide a list of vocabulary words per subject that students need to know and understand per grade to be successful in the acquisition of the academic content.
